Members of the Porter Fire Department participated in Chesterton Fire Department's Annual Open House. The firefighters from Porter presented our dive rescue equipment and water safety tips. Other activities that took place were the E.D.I.T.H. trailer presented by Chesterton Fire Department. The E.D.I.T.H. allows children and other family members practice Emergency Drill In The Home. Liberty Twp. Fire Department presented extrication demonstration. The demonstration allow participants to view the equipment and action taken during a serious accident.
